Connecticut has become the first college program to offer Alonso cornerback Tyree Clark, new Ravens coach Lee Meitzler announced in a text message Sunday to local media outlets.

The offer arrived Saturday, Meitzler reported. The 5-foot-9 Clark enjoyed a breakthrough junior season in 2009, picking off six passes and recording 42 tackles.
