The University of Massachusetts became the latest school to offer Class of 2012 basketball prospect Tyler Bergantino according to Nature Coast head coach Dave Pisarcik.

Bergantino now holds offers from UMass, USF, Ohio University, Virginia Tech, Buffalo and Georgia Southern among others.

Bergantino was the main cog in the Sharks' back-to-back runs to the region finals. As a junior, the 6-foot-9 center averaged 18.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 4.9 points a game.

Following the 2010-11 season, Bergantino was named the St. Petersburg Times' All-North Suncoast Player of the Year for the second year in a row.
