A half-dozen of the area's top senior boys soccer players will join a statewide contingent of peers for the two-day Florida Athletic Coaches Association (FACA) Boys All-State All-Star games at USF this weekend.

Players will be divided into four squads, based on geography. The local players will represent the West team.

Action at Corbett Soccer Stadium begins Friday with the East facing the West at 4:30, followed by the North-South game at 7. The losers of the two matches meet Saturday at 11, with the winners playing at 1.

The West roster will include Steinbrenner's Jason Collister, Plant's Luis Zapata, Strawberry Crest's Mazeed Aro-Lambo, Jesuit's Ethan Saleh, Leto's Luis Amayo and Wiregrass Ranch's Robert Castillo.
