Seven Jesuit athletes – including QB Vincent Testaverde – plan to sign to play college ball in a ceremony Wednesday morning, the school announced Monday morning.

Testaverde – the son of Miami’s Heisman Trophy winner and former Buc – will play at Texas Tech. He helped the Tigers win the Class 5A, District 9 championship and reach the region semifinals. All-state K Rhett Waldron and RB Ryan Black will both sign with Augustana (Ill.) College.

Joseph Trim is headed to Fordham. Hillsborough County’s top golfer tied for 24th at the state tournament and helped Jesuit finish fourth as a team.

Peyton Elliott (lacrosse, John Carroll University), Danny Lastra (baseball, Ave Maria) and Nick Bodner (baseball, Johns Hopkins) will also sign Wednesday.
