Visits in Adrian Golden’s future?

Tarpon Springs RB Adrian Golden, who rushed for more than 1,500 yards last fall, was too busy to chat today, but in a text message confirmed that there’s a chance he will make official visits soon to Iowa State and Southern Mississippi.

With Golden’s help, the Spongers reached the third round of the Class 4A playoffs.

He averaged more than 10 yards per carry and scored 17 touchdowns, helping him earn first-team all-county honors.

We’ll have more on Golden’s recruitment over the weekend.
