Visits continue for CDS' Embody

Fresh off a visit to Sewanee, Carrollwood Day quarterback Billy Embody is set to check out fellow Division III program Birmingham Southern, Patriots coach Lane McLaughlin said.

McLaughlin said Embody will visit the north Alabama school this weekend. He also is vying for a leadership/athletic scholarship to Division I Southern Methodist University; and has been accepted at Vanderbilt, where a walk-on opportunity could arise, McLaughlin added. 

Embody (6-foot, 180 pounds) passed for 1,836 yards and 25 touchdowns last fall, giving him nearly 4,000 passing yards over the past two seasons.
