Take stock of Hernando County volleyball, and the results are rather impressive.

Of the five teams, Nature Coast and Springstead are undefeated and Hernando Christian is 8-2.

The Eagles have yet to be pushed to five games with wins against Citrus, South Sumter, Ocala West Port and Pasco. Megan Morrison, Allyson Silinger, Kelsey Heckman, Maria Garcia and Carly Wiggins have all been a big part to building on last year's success. Springstead travels to district and county foe, Central on Wednesday.

Nature Coast swept Hernando and Central and earned a 3-1 win against Wiregrass ranch. The Sharks travel to Citrus tonight before hosting Land O'Lakes on Thursday.Leading the way for the Sharks have been senior Alex Livengood and sophomore Courtney Liddle, who has 42 kills and 45 digs. Livengood has 35 kills and 28 digs.

The Lions shook off a pair of early-season losses and have tough matches against Bayshore Christian and Bradenton Christian.
