Wednesday night's highly anticipated volleyball rematch between rivals River Ridge and Ridgewood will be seen by a limited audience, Ridgewood officials have confirmed.

The first meeting, which took place Sept. 30, was marred by a brawl in the stands that involved 50 students and took more than a dozen deputies to bring to an end.

The match was played and won by the Rams, 3-1. No players or coaches were involved, according to River Ridge principal Maria Swanson.

Hoping to avoid Round 2, Ridgewood officials will limit entry to tonight's rematch to family.

This is the last meeting between the teams, which play in different districts.

Ridgewood is 12-3, and the Royal Knights are 8-8.
