Warriors could replace Graham by month's end

If all goes as projected, Steinbrenner could have a new football coach in place by the end of the month.

In a text message Tuesday to the Times, athletic director Eddie Henderson indicated the Warriors administration already has advertised the vacancy and is accepting resumes from within and outside the school. Steinbrenner is seeking a replacement for Floyd Graham (pictured), who created the program from scratch three years ago.

Graham resigned to return to his native Alabama and care for his mom and maternal grandfather, both of whom are battling cancer. His wife, Warriors volleyball coach Jennifer Graham, also resigned.

Henderson said the school's timetable for making a new hire is "the next couple of weeks ...maybe later." In the meantime, offensive coordinator Andres Perez is running the team on an interim basis, Henderson added.
