Last week, we wrote about the challenge facing Alonso quarterback C.J. Bennett -- starting the recruiting process all over again.
Bennett de-committed from Wyoming two weeks ago and now is trying to drum up interest even though his high school career is over.
Here's the 2009 highlight tape being sent to schools hoping to stir up some Division I interest. Bennett's father, Chip, said he was sending about 30 tapes to various schools. Right now, Bennett's favorite is South Alabama, a I-AA program that will begin transitioning to Division I in 2011.
Bennett three for 2,587 yards and 29 touchdowns this season, leading the Ravens to the Class 5A region semifinals.
