Wesley Chapel's Qualls signs with NAIA school

Wesley Chapel wrestler Jeremy Qualls signed with Briar Cliff University on Wednesday, his father, Keith Gooch, said in an email.

Qualls was the district champion in the 145-pound class and placed fifth at the Class A state meet.

He was a second-team all-North Suncoast selection and a first-team all-conference pick.

Briar Cliff is an NAIA school in Sioux City, Iowa.
