The Wharton boys tennis team has clinched its third straight team state title after both of its doubles teams have advanced to the final.

At No. 1 doubles, Mike Alford and Rohit Navelkar won their semifinal match, 6-3, 6-3 over Boca Raton's Timothy Corwin and Wyatt Ebert.

Wharton's No. 2 doubles team of Ben Hwang and Jon Ho also won the semi in straight sets, beating Cypress Bay's Danilo Fariah and Mitchell Granger, 6-3, 6-3.

The wins give Wharton 14 total points, distancing itself from Cypress Bay.

The Plant girls team also clinched second place with two doubles semifinals wins.
