Wharton rising senior Gabe Nold, the Wildcats' starting center the last two seasons, has moved to Armwood.
Wildcats coach David Mitchell confirmed the move to the Times on Monday. Nold, listed at 5-foot-10, 265 pounds on last season's roster, moved into Armwood's geographic district and is not a transfer, Hawks coach Sean Callahan said.
He becomes the second offensive lineman to move into Armwood's boundary in the last couple of months, joining former Seffner Christian two-way lineman Aaron Evans (6-5, 265).
All five starting offensive linemen from the Hawks' 2011 state championship team are graduating.
