Wharton senior setter Ashton Stocker has committed to Furman University, becoming the second county player in as many weeks to commit to a Southern Conference program.

Stocker's father, Chris, announced his daughter's commitment. Riverview MB Kiahna Wicks, a teammate of Stocker's on the Tampa United club team, recently committed to reigning Southern Conference champ Samford.

Stocker, who also had received an offer from Louisiana Lafayette, enters her second year as a Wildcats starter after spending her first two varsity seasons at Wiregrass Ranch. As a junior, she averaged 4.9 assists while totaling 63 digs, 48 blocks and 38 aces for the Wildcats (19-4).
