Earlier today, Lakewood RB/WR Bernard Reedy committed to Toledo. Moments ago, he answered a few questions from the Times about that pledge.

SPT: Why Toledo?
BR: I felt like it was the right thing to do and the right time.

SPT: Besides Toledo, what other schools did you take official visits to?
BR: Western Kentucky.

SPT: South Florida started showing interest last week. You could have waited a little longer for a Bulls offer, so why didn’t you?
BR: I decided if they really wanted me that bad, they would have been there. I feel like I’ll be successful anywhere I go.

SPT: How badly did Toledo want you?
BR: They were going to wait all the way until Tuesday, that’s how bad. They come to all my basketball games. They’ve come to my grandparents’ house. I am the top recruit in the Toledo class.

SPT: Will you play RB or WR?
BR: I’ll be a utility. I’ll be playing kind of everything. I know they want me to come in and start as a true freshman. They think I can help the team right away.
