Wiregrass Ranch junior goalkeeper Dayton Wetherby has committed to play soccer at Navy, Bulls coach Erin Dodd said in an email Wednesday morning.

Wetherby posted 11 shutouts and allowed only 11 goals all season for Wiregrass Ranch (17-5). She recorded 78 saves and allowed just over half a goal per game. She's in Panama playing for that country’s U-20 national team in the upcoming CONCACAF tournament.

Navy finished 13-6-3 last season and lost to rival Army in the Patriot League title game.

Oral commitments are nonbinding until recruits sign national letters of intent during their senior seasons.
