Wiregrass Ranch WR James Jackson has orally committed to New Mexico Military Institute, he said Monday morning.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound senior caught 13 passes for 254 yards and five touchdowns as a senior. As a pass rusher, he also tallied 10 tackles (two for a loss), 1.5 sacks and three quarterback hurries.

The Bulls have a solid history at NMMI. Former Wiregrass lineman Edmond Boateng attended the junior college before signing with Arizona State last month.

Oral commitments are non-binding until recruits sign letters of intent during their senior year. National signing day is Feb. 5.
