Wiregrass Ranch cross country star Nikita Shah is headed to Harvard.

The Bulls senior was accepted there Thursday and plans to run cross country and track for the Crimson, Wiregrass coach Don Howard said Friday.

Shah was also being recruited by Florida, Florida State, Cornell and Columbia.

She tied a Sunshine Athletic Conference meet record with her first-place time of 18:31 last week. Shah earned North Suncoast runner of the year honors as a junior after finishing fourth at the Class 3A state meet.
