Wiregrass Ranch head football coach Jeremy Shobe was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Coach of the Week.

Shobe was the ninth winner of the award this season. Last Friday, Shobe's Wiregrass Ranch team defeated River Ridge 28-6 to earn the school's first playoff berth and first district title.

Shobe, along with Wiregrass Ranch principal Ray Bonti, assistant principal and former Buccaneer Jimmy DuBose and offensive line coach Jim Jensen, were invited to One Buc Place for a tour of the team's facilities, and, following practice, Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris presented Shobe with a $1,000 donation from the NFL Youth Football Fund to the Wiregrass Ranch footbal program.

"It means a lot to out kids because we are going to take the money and buy some playoff shirts for them and give back to the kids because they are the ones that put in all the hard work and their coaches," Shobe said in a press release. "We are going to make sure that the kids notice that it's their hard work that earned this money."

Wiregrass Ranch (5-3, 3-0) goes for its fourth win in a row tonight at Hudson.
