Hudson QB Zack Wynn, a four-year starter who threw for more than 6,500 yards in his prep career, will make his first official visit this weekend when he travels to Western Michigan.

The school hasn’t offered, but Wynn and his coach are hopeful one will come.

“I kind of think they want to get him up there and let the head coach get a look at him face to face,” Hudson coach Mark Nash said. “Zack’s real excited about the trip. He’s done a lot of research and they offer exactly what he’s looking for academically. And it seems like an up-and-coming program.”

The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Wynn might have another potential suitor.

According to Nash, it looks as if Elon, an excellent Division I-AA program, is interested and likely will have one of its coaches stop by this week.
