Hudson QB Zack Wynn, a senior who has more than 6,500 career passing yards, is still waiting for an offer from Division I-A Western Michigan.

But he already has the next best thing: An offer to visit.

Cobras coach Mark Nash said Wednesday that Wynn will make an official visit to WMU in mid-December, a trip paid for by the school.

“They’ve been talking to him a lot,” Nash said. “They’re very interested.”

Wynn and his teammates face Gainesville (9-1) on Friday in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs.
