Zephyrhills promotes JV girls soccer coach

Zephyrhills has promoted JV coach Kelli Vernsey as the school’s new girls soccer coach, principal Steve Van Gorden said Monday morning.

Vernsey replaces Mike Mira.

The Bulldogs finished 6-4-2 in the Sunshine Athletic Conference and a 9-8-2 record overall.

Van Gorden also announced Jan Anderton as the school’s new head cheerleading coach.
