Zephyrhills RB Willie Williams has been cleared to play in tonight’s Class 5A, District 6 tiebreaker against Anclote, said Williams’ aunt, Sharmaine Richardson.

“He’s on the bus headed to Fivay,” Richardson said Monday afternoon. “He’s gonna play.”

Williams was held out of Friday night’s loss to Pasco in the defacto district title game because of a lack of proper paperwork, Richardson said.

Williams, a speedy senior who transferred to Zephyrhills from Palm Bay in the offseason, leads the Bulldogs with 727 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.

If the Bulldogs beat Anclote in the first one quarter game, they will face Fivay in the second. The winner will advance to the playoffs.
