Zephyrhills boys soccer coach Dee Dee Castro has resigned her post in pursuit of an assistant principal position.

Castro, who starred for the Bulldogs' girls soccer team from 1996-2000, coached the boys last season. Her father, Phillip, also coached the boys team for 12 seasons.

Zephyrhills principal Steve Van Gorden made the announcement in an e-mail and did not detail plans to replace Castro.
