USF student seeks info, items about Adele Tyre

Do you have any photos, information or memories of Adele Tyre, who some say was the first African-American woman television reporter in the Tampa Bay area?

If so, contact University of South Florida student Vanessa Moorer, who is creating a video documentary about Tyre.

Tyre worked during the 1970s and 1980s for Channels 8 and 10, according to Moorer.

Call 453-4281 or send an e-mail to vmoorer@mail.usf.edu.
