Airport worker held in ticket scam

A Miami International Airport worker is accused of selling passengers fake airline tickets to Latin America.

Julio Amores, 55, worked for the luggage-wrapping business Secure Wrap. He was arrested Tuesday on charges of grand theft and organized scheme to defraud.


Utility reverses photo ID rule for customers

A southwest Florida utility is reversing a rule that required customers to provide valid U.S. or state-issued identification to access municipal water supplies.

As of Monday, immigrants can obtain services from the Immokalee Water and Sewer District if they show photo IDs from foreign governments.


Owner sees stolen car for sale on craigslist

A Palm Beach County man whose 1970 Chevy Chevelle was stolen got it back after the thief posted an ad for it on the Internet, authorities say. Police arrested 20-year-old William P. Jones III on Monday and charged him with vehicle theft and burglary.
