Kenny Chesney will tie record if he wins fifth Entertainer of the Year award

Kenny Chesney is going for a fifth. If he wins Entertainer of the Year honors at the Academy of Country Music Awards this time around, he'll have won five times. He'll tie with Alabama for the most wins in that category. This year's award will be picked through an online vote. The presentations will be broadcast live from Nashville, Tenn. (8 p.m. tonight, CBS). Reba McEntire will host. Chesney is up for other honors as well. He'll be vying for Top Male Vocalist and for Vocal Event of the Year (Down the Road with Mac McAnally), for which he can win as a producer and an artist. But he's not the most-nominated act. That goes to Brad Paisley, who has six nods. Other major nominees include Carrie Underwood, George Strait, Jamey Johnson and Keith Urban. Times wires
