BARTOW — Triple-murder defendant Leon Davis has decided to move ahead with a jury trial.
Earlier, the Ledger had learned that Davis was seeking a trial by court, or in front of a judge only, as opposed to a jury trial.
Davis, 32, is accused of killing two Lake Wales women who were working at Headley Nationwide Insurance on Dec. 13, 2007. One woman was pregnant, and her premature son lived for only three days.
Jury selection started Monday, but the trial isn't likely to begin for about two weeks.
