ORLANDO — Prosecutors, defense attorneys and judges in the Trayvon Martin murder case have gone to great lengths to protect the names of witnesses.
But lead prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda has inadvertently leaked the names of a dozen witnesses, violating a court order.
It was not clear whether he'll face sanctions by the judge in the case, Debra S. Nelson.
De la Rionda accidentally filed a summary sheet including the names into the public court record, instead of the edited version that usually in placed in that record.
The more detailed sheet that was mistakenly released is intended for defense attorneys.
