Planning a trip to St. Pete Beach around Thanksgiving? Bring earplugs.
This year's St. Pete Beach BikeFest, returning Nov. 20-24, will bring a slew of rock and country acts in for free concerts on the sand outside the TradeWinds Island Resorts. Headlining this year's bill: Poison singer Bret Michaels, country legends the Charlie Daniels Band and '90s alt-rockers Fuel and Soul Asylum.
Here's the lineup so far by day, with more to be added:
Thursday, Nov. 21: Fuel, Soul Asylum
Friday, Nov. 22: Charlie Daniels Band, Saliva, Tantric
Saturday, Nov. 23: Bret Michaels, Saving Abel, Moonshine Bandits
The concerts, held on the sand and free to all beachgoers, are the highlights of the weekend-long bike festival, which also features fireworks, celebrity appearances, motorcycle shows and auctions and more. The full 2019 schedule will be released soon.
While the concerts are free, you can purchase lodging packages for the weekend that include VIP tickets, which offer free drinks, some parking and access to air-conditioned restrooms and a viewing area near the stage. Those packages are on sale now for $672 and up.
