Certified organic Clean Juice opens in South Tampa

SOUTH TAMPA — Just last March of last year Charlotte, North Carolina-based company, Clean Juice opened its first location in Florida in Carrollwood, and now the franchise is on to its second site in South Tampa at the Carriage Trade Plaza, 1732 S Dale Mabry Hwy.

"Carrollwood is in our backyard so it was very important for us to start there and build a name for ourselves," said owner Michelle Piniella.

"It’s been a phenomenal year. We’ve been extremely blessed with the business we created as well as the brand, so we decided that South Tampa is absolutely where we need to be."

Piniella acknowledges there is stiff competition in this area with other juice bars and smoothie places but believes their brand is different than other offerings in Tampa. She expects this location to be even busier than Carrollwood.

"We are the first and only in the area USDA certified organic juice bar which means a lot," Piniella said.

"Our guests know that when they come into Clean Juice, they’re getting the absolute cleanest products out there on the market and you’re going to know exactly what’s in your products and where it’s coming from."

Whether you’re an experienced juicer, or new to the game, Clean Juice has a juice for everyone with a variety of freshly made, organic smoothies, acai bowls, cold-pressed juices and fresh juices ranging from $5 to $10 at the most depending on the size.

In addition to clean juices, there are limited food items such as oat bowls, avocado toast and almond toast to name a few, and cold brew and regular coffee are also on the menu.

The brand is confident about the future of the company and plans another South Tampa location in Hyde Park this fall.

Clean Juice South Tampa operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m, and offers catering as well. For more information visit cleanjuice.com.
