Clearwater conference to focus on helping neighborhoods

CLEARWATER — Do you want to get more involved in your neighborhood? Find out how to contact city officials on issues important to you? Help unite your neighbors?

The Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition is hosting a conference to help residents "turn your neighborhood’s potential into reality." The event will be held from 1-4 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Main Library, 100 N Osceola Ave. The keynote speakers will be St. Petersburg College professor Jeff Kronschnabl and Pasco County Sheriff’s Capt. James Steffens.

Representatives from neighborhood organizations and advisers from the Clearwater Police Department will be on hand to answer questions on how to build stronger neighborhoods. The event will also provide information on each neighborhood association and how to get involved.
