Author publishes first book: Alessandra Sanchez, who writes under the pen name of Alessandra Jay, recently published Winter\u0092s Awakening, her first book in the Light Coven Chronicles series. After college, Sanchez, a 2007 graduate of River Ridge High School, welcomed her first child, and a second a few years later. Although she loved being a stay-at-home mother, she felt something was missing. After sharing her dream of writing, her husband bought her a laptop. She finished the first book in one year, mostly when her daughters Liliana and Lola were napping. Winter\u0092s Awakening is a fictional young adult paranormal romance novel. Sanchez is working on the second book in the series. Sanchez is shown with her daughters.
