Pet owners line up at new Petsmart in Oldsmar

OLDSMAR—Dogs of all sizes and breeds lined up with their owners outside the new PetSmart in Oldsmar as they awaited the grand opening earlier this month.

The store officially celebrated its new location on Dec. 2 with a ribbon cutting, giveaways, coupons, and goodies for the furry, four-legged shoppers.

This location includes the new Pinnacle Pet Nutrition Shop, which is a dedicated space featuring an expanded collection of pet food products offering high-protein, organic, natural, grain-free, minimally processed and raw pet food.

These food types are the fastest growing in the overall pet food category and embody the peak of pet nutrition. PetSmart is the exclusive national retailer for the brand Only Natural Pet, which offers paleo-inspired, raw, protein-first recipes that are dehydrated, freeze-dried and air-dried.

In addition to supplies and food for dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles and small pets, PetSmart offers dog training and pet adoptions. Pet grooming is available for dogs and cats and is provided by professional, academy trained and safety-certified stylists.

PetSmart is located in Woodlands Square at 3130 Tampa Road. It is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
