SPC to host pizza night with local candidates

St. Petersburg College will host a "Pizza and Politics" night on Oct. 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SPC Seminole Campus, 9200 113th St. N. All candidates running for Pinellas County Commission, Florida Senate, Florida House of Representatives and Congressional District 13 have been invited and voters are invited to engage in one-on-one conversation with them over free pizza and soda. Tickets for Treasure Islettes annual holiday luncheon on sale

The Treasure Islettes, the women’s club of Treasure Island, will host its annual Hollyfest fundraiser, Candyland — Sweetest Hollyfest Ever, Dec. 1 at the Treasure Island Community Center, 1 Park Place. Tickets cost $15 and include the luncheon and beverage. The event will feature the annual holiday bazaar, crafts, a money tree, 50/50, baskets, jewelry and holiday shopping.
