Regal, AMC offer cheap movie deals for kids this summer

School is out and parents are looking for something for their kids to do. Once again, the Regal and AMC movie chains have a series of cheap family movies to come to the rescue.

Regal is offering $1 movies at 10 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday through Aug. 15. And select AMC theaters are offering the $4 Summer Movie Camp , which includes a free snack pack of kid-sized popcorn, a fountain drink and fruit chewy candy.

Both movies in the schedule will be shown each day allowing families to see both movies every week.

• June 5-6: The Iron Giant (PG) and Curious George (G)

• June 12-13: Despicable Me (PG) and Ice Age: Collision Course (PG)

• June 19-20: Storks (PG) and Mr. Peabody and Sherman (PG)

• June 26-26: Despicable Me 2 (PG) and How to Train Your Dragon 2 (PG)

• July 3-4: The Lego Movie (PG) and Alvin and the Chipmunks (PG)

• July 10-11: Sing (PG) and The Peanuts Movie (G)

• July 17-18: The Lego Ninjago Movie (PG) and Ferdinand (PG)

• July 24-25: The Secret Life of Pets (PG) and Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (PG)

• July 31-Aug. 1: The Lego Batman Movie (PG) and Trolls (PG)

• Aug. 7-8: Minions (PG) and Boss Baby (PG)

• Aug. 14-15: Paddington 2 (PG) and Captain Underpants (PG)

AMC

The $4 Summer Movie Camp will be offered at Centro Ybor 10 in Tampa, Palm Harbor 10 in Palm Harbor and Regency 20 in Brandon. Movies are at 10 a.m. every Wednesday (except July 4) through Aug. 1.
