DUNEDIN CONSIDERS BANNING PHARMACIES DOWNTOWN TO PREVENT MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES FROM OPENING THERE

After 17 months under a moratorium, Dunedin City Manager Jennifer Bramley is preparing an ordinance that, if approved, would ban pharmacies downtown and in the Causeway area. The idea is to prevent dispensaries from taking root in the city’s main economic centers in case the state later legalizes recreational marijuana, Mayor Julie Ward Bujalski said.

DOWNTOWN ST. PETE BREAKFAST STAPLE DOME GRILL GOES OUT OF BUSINESS

Longtime downtown breakfast staple Dome Grill has closed its doors.The restaurant, at 561 Central Avenue N, announced the closing on Facebook on June 10 and will not be relocating to a new location.
