TROPICAL DEPRESSION TWO FORMS IN ATLANTIC, COULD DISSIPATE BEFORE IMPACTING FLORIDA
Tropical Depression Two, which could become Tropical Storm Beryl, has formed in the Atlantic. At 11 a.m., it was located about 1,385 east-southeast of the Lesser Antilles and is moving west at 35 mph. It has maximum sustained winds near 35 mph with higher gusts, and could strengthen into a tropical storm later Thursday or Friday. However, forecasters say upper-level winds could make conditions unfavorable for sustaining the storm.
POLICE: CELEBRATORY GUNFIRE WOUNDS BUSCH GARDENS GUEST, DAMAGES CAR AND APARTMENT
Police continue to investigate three separate incidents involving celebratory gunfire during the Tampa fireworks show that wounded a Busch Gardens guest and caused damage in two other locations.
