The Hernando Aero Modelers held a charity air show on Saturday to benefit the Hernando Cattlemen's Association scholarship fund. Under clear blue skies, spectators gathered at the Hernando Aero Modelers Field north of Brooksville to watch about 50 enthusiasts tune up their planes and send them aloft. The show included aircraft displays, various flight demonstrations, races and combat flying. Aero models are remote-controlled small planes and helicopters that can cost from $500 to $8,000.
