The AARP offers refresher courses for drivers older than 50. This course must be completed before submitting a certificate to your insurance company for a possible rate reduction. Classes cost $14. AARP members receive a $2 discount.
Bring your driver's license, AARP membership card and fee to the first day of class, unless you are otherwise instructed when you register. To find a class and register, call toll-free 1-888-227-7669 or go to aarp.org/drive to get registration and other information.
