Pasco County operates nine congregate dining sites that offer a nutritious meal and various program activities. There is no charge for these meals, but donations are requested. Additionally, Pasco County delivers meals to homes of the elderly through two programs: The Elderly Nutrition Program meal is offered for a donation only. The Meals on Wheels program requires a registration fee and a $5 fee per meal. Meals include low-fat milk. Wednesday: Sliced turkey ham with raisin sauce, mashed sweet potatoes, green peas, whole wheat bread, diced peaches.
Thursday: Vegetable barley soup, baked chicken quarter with Spanish sauce, yellow rice with tomatoes and peppers, mixed vegetables, whole grain bread, mixed fruit.
Friday: Turkey and cheese sandwich on whole grain bread, mayonnaise, orange juice, fresh fruit, cookie.
