This bald eagle, which appeared to have been in a fight, was recovered Thursday near one of North Pinellas' best-known eagle nests. Rescuers took the eagle, which had a punctured wing and an injured right eye, to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary. Neighbors in the Grey Oaks subdivision south of the Pinellas-Pasco line spotted the bird. No one knew whether it was the nesting father or an intruder.
