A stripper at a Pinellas County gentleman's club was arrested Saturday after deputies said she stole $1,300 from a patron's wallet while she gave him a private dance.

Lidia Leon-Batueca Maria, 26, was arrested on a charge of grand theft and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.

According to an arrest report, Maria on Saturday night was giving a private dance to a man at the Atlantis Gentleman's Club, 11600 66th St. N.

While giving the dance, Maria took 65 $20 bills from the man's wallet without his permission. She then tried to leave the club, but was stopped by security and the sheriff's office was called.

Maria admitted to stealing the money, deputies wrote in an arrest report.

Maria, who lists an address in Miami Beach, was released on her own recognizance.
