WATCH: Man survives after crash sends him flying out of windshield on Florida Turnpike

A video showing a man being ejected through the windshield of a car on the Florida turnpike was released by the Florida Highway Patrol on Monday.

The man survived, as did four other people who were in the car.

The video shows the toll booth on the Florida Turnpike in Osceola County the morning of June 3.

Everything appears to be normal, with a person in a car about to hand over money to a toll booth operator.

Suddenly, a white car emerges and it’s clear it’s not going to slow down. The car smashes into a concrete barrier — and a man goes flying out of the windshield. He lands near one of the booths and is motionless.

Toll booth employees appear not to immediately notice the man. Meanwhile, smoke starts to come from the car. Someone then walks out of the smoke.

Troopers said five people were inside the car at the time of the crash. All were taken to a nearby hospital and were treated and released.

Media reports said fatigue may have played a part in the crash.
