CLEARWATER — Clearwater police are investigating two to five "vile and disgusting" telephone messages left for Hulk Hogan, according to an attorney for Hogan's son, Nick Bollea.
On Friday, police said they are investigating threatening phone calls made by a member of John Graziano's family to the Bollea family.
J. Kevin Hayslett, one of Nick Bollea's attorneys, confirmed Monday the messages were left for Hulk Hogan, who is also known as Terry Bollea.
Graziano was a passenger in Nick Bollea's speeding Toyota Supra when it crashed into a tree in Clearwater on Aug. 26.
Graziano, 23, a former Marine, suffered a serious head injury and is in a semiconscious state at Tampa's James A. Haley VA Medical Center. Nick Bollea, 17, is serving an eight-month jail sentence on a charge of reckless driving with serious bodily injury.
On Monday, the Bubba the Love Sponge Show said it obtained tapes that it said were the calls. A show producer said he couldn't say how the show obtained the tapes. The language used by the caller in the tapes is extremely obscene and graphic.
"Your kid's going to bleed," the caller said in the mostly unprintable rants.
In another message, the caller says, "every Marine, every gangsta, every lowlife, every crackhead and every scumbag, is going to be looking for you."
George Tragos, one of the lawyers representing John Graziano, said he doesn't know who made the recording because the caller does not identify himself.
Clearwater police spokeswoman Elizabeth Daly-Watts said she wouldn't release any additional information Monday, citing an ongoing investigation.

Its funny how the Hogans are getting all this attention , if you watch there show , they show nick doing all this stuff that gets you in trouble with your parents. And you know Hulk edits his own shows , so this is all prolly a ploy .

John should have had a set belt on first and fore most. No one forced him in that car and he knew what they were up to. It is unfortunate that he was injured but he to has a responsibility to keep himself safe and out of harms way.

The only reason that one kid is in jail and the other in a coma, is that first one was smart enough to put on a seatbelt.
This fact will greatly impact any monetary award for the Graziano family.

It sounds like an angry Graziano family member to me. John's brother was on The Schmitt Show talking in these tones, though not exactly these threatening tones. Nick should pay for his irresponsibility as set by the law and civily in court if sued.

Nick should not be given any breaks due his celebrity status. He learned a hard lesson...I hope. I'm sure he will pay much in a civil suit if the Graziano's sue. It's a shame Hulkster's family has fallen apart. I hope they turn to Jesus.

Hurting Nick Bollea won't solve anything or bring John's health back. Forgiveness is needed here. I wish both families will turn to God for help.

Someone knows who the caller is. They're just not saying yet. Good police work will get to the bottom of this. To the person who made the calls, go back under the rock you came from, Sick B......

Dave, all we ask is that his son face his time like a man, not like a rich punk who thinks he's above the law.

The tragedy of John Graziano's injuries is the only important aspect of the Bollea case. The rest serves only to show that the "Hogans" are low grade trash with more money than breeding.
