Kardashian attack at Busch Gardens? 'Frivolous' lawsuit gets booted

TAMPA — Has "Sue-Rer-Man" resumed his career? Jonathan Lee Riches once sued Guinness World Records, saying its editors gave him that moniker and told him he had filed more lawsuits than anyone else.

This week, his friend, Gino Romano of Brooklyn, N.Y., filed for an injunction against the Kardashian sisters of reality TV fame. Romano claimed they attacked him at Busch Gardens on June 10, a date the Kardashians weren't there, their spokeswoman says.

Romano said Kim Kardashian, using "Arnold Schwarzenegger's voice," vowed more assaults. The sisters, he said, were mad about a suit he filed against them in Tennessee that said they have a "jihad" against Riches.

U.S. District Court Judge James Moody Jr. dismissed it Friday, saying it was filled with "delusions."

As many as 30 patients who should have been evacuated from the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center were left behind during Hurricane Irma because the hospital and the county couldn't agree on where they should go.

Lorraine Johnson-Mitchell, back home in St. Petersburg on Monday, said she watched in disbelief as hospital staff seemed to scramble without a plan to evacuate patients like her from the VA medical center in St. Petersburg before Hurricane Irma. [LARA CERRI | Times]
