A Pinellas Park man was arrested recently after police said he attacked a Home Depot employee with a faucet.
Pinellas Park police said Timothy S. Dexter, 54, entered the Home Depot, 4040 Park Blvd., on Thursday and asked an employee for help.
The employee told Dexter she was on break and turned to walk away.
Police said Dexter then grabbed the woman by the arm. The woman yelled "Don't put your hands on me," according to an arrest report.
"As the victim pulled away," an officer wrote in the report, "the defendant then struck her in the left buttocks area with a boxed faucet."
Dexter was arrested on a battery charge.
