Longtime volunteer Susan Saunders was awarded the 2012 Key Citizen Award for her involvement in the chamber at the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce annual dinner on Feb. 1.

"I love giving to this community, and I hope all of you will give as freely as you can," she said. She has also volunteered for the Brandon Outreach Clinic and the Center Place Fine Arts and Civic Association.

Former state Rep. Rich Glorioso was presented the Greater Brandon Community Leadership Award, recognizing him for his focus on foster care.

Board member Amy Marsh, of Sullivan Rehab, was presented the Chairman's Award, and CF Web Professionals' Deb Long was awarded Ambassador of the Year.

Chairman Bob Bivins of Bivins & Hemenway, P.A. presented a ceremonial gavel to incoming board chair Darren Denington, owner of Copper Bell Café–Riverview and founder of Service With Style.

"What I've seen over the last four or five years is that this is an organization and a community that is strong and driven," Denington said.
