Arc Nature Coast plans Hurricane Party, Catholic women's group hosts luncheon and fashion show

HELP ORGANIZE HURRICANE PARTY: The Arc Nature Coast is seeking committee members to help organize the Arc's first Hurricane Party, is scheduled for April at the agency's new Education Center and Regional Evacuation Shelter, 6495 Mariner Blvd., Spring Hill.

Committees include: food and beverage, entertainment and staging, games and activities, marketing and ticket sales, and decorating.

The event will include entertainment, including a fire-breathing stiltwalker and a fire show, as well as games, interactive activities, food and possibly an auction and raffles.

CCW LUNCHEON AND FASHION SHOW: The Council of Catholic Women at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church will host its annual luncheon and fashion show at noon Feb. 21 at the Palace Grand, 275 Della Court, Spring Hill.

Tickets are $19.
