Here's your opportunity to safely dispose of old electronic devices, such as computers, monitors and televisions. The county will collect them during a free recycling event scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the West Pasco Resource & Recovery Facility, 14230 Hays Road, 2.5 miles north of State Road 52. Marchman Technical Education Center will host its awards night and graduation ceremony at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Center for the Arts at River Ridge, 11646 Town Center Road, New Port Richey. Hurricane expo is set for Saturday
County emergency management officials will host a hurricane expo "Protecting What Matters Most" from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the New Port Richey Aquatic Center, 6630 Van Buren St. The event will include public safety and vendor displays and a presentation by a local TV meteorologist. Admission and parking are free.

Pancake breakfast to help food bank
The Knights of Columbus and the Volunteer Way food bank are sponsoring a free pancake breakfast from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 6. The event will be held at 5850 K of C Drive in Port Richey. Donations are welcome. All funds will be used to buy food for the food bank, which helps about 9,000 Pasco families with boxes of food and personal items.
